About the clinic

Quality healthcare, wherever the patient is

Care & Cure Clinics has grown from a single Port Harcourt city medical and surgical practice into a fully accredited multi-specialist hospital — consultant-led medicine, fertility care, modern surgery, diagnostics and imaging, telemedicine and community care, delivered by more than 200 clinical and support staff.

Our philosophy is a single sentence: every patient deserves quality healthcare, dignity, compassion and professional attention — regardless of location.

Our core values

Five things that decide how we practise

Not slogans on a wall. Each one settles a real operational question about how a patient is treated here.

  • Compassion and empathy

We meet every patient as a person first. Understanding what someone is frightened of changes how their care is delivered, not only how it is described.

  • Courage

We give the honest answer, take on the difficult case, and say plainly when a patient needs something we do not provide.

  • Dignity and respect

Privacy, consent and courtesy are part of the treatment. Every patient is received the same way, whatever their background, nationality or means.

  • Improving lives to the best

The measure of our work is a life materially better afterwards - not a completed appointment or a closed file.

  • Commitment to the best care

Current evidence, modern equipment and properly credentialled clinicians, reviewed continuously rather than assumed.

  • “Compassionate Care. Clinical Excellence.”

The whole of it, in three words.

One of our core practices

Fertility medicine, from first investigation to embryo transfer

Infertility has a cause. We find it before we treat it - both partners fully investigated, then the intervention matched to what the tests actually show rather than to a standard package.

  • Intrauterine insemination (IUI)

Prepared sperm placed directly into the uterus at ovulation.

  • In-vitro fertilisation (IVF)

Eggs collected and fertilised in the laboratory, then transferred.

  • Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)

A single sperm injected into each egg, for male-factor infertility.

  • Laparoscopic surgery

Keyhole correction of endometriosis, adhesions, fibroids and tubal disease.

  • Hysteroscopic surgery

Polyps, septa, adhesions and submucous fibroids removed from inside the uterus.

  • Laparoscopic ovarian drilling

For polycystic ovary syndrome that has not responded to medication.

  • Surgical sperm retrieval

PESA, TESA and TESE where no sperm is present in the ejaculate.

Why patients stay with us

State-of-the-art equipment, and the co-ordination to use it well

Equipment decides what is possible; co-ordination decides whether it reaches the patient. We invest in both - modern theatres, an embryology laboratory, CT and MRI imaging, and one team that carries the case from the first consultation to recovery at home.

  • Modern equipment, properly used

Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic theatre stacks, an embryology laboratory, CT and MRI imaging, ultrasound and a full diagnostic laboratory - kept current, and staffed by people trained on it.

  • One team from first visit to recovery

The clinicians who assess you also operate, scan, admit, transport and follow you home. Nothing falls between two providers because there is only one.

  • Specialists who discuss cases together

Where a problem crosses disciplines, the relevant consultants review it jointly. The patient meets a decision, not a queue.

  • Open every hour of the year

Medicine, surgery and emergency response run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including every public holiday. Illness does not keep office hours.

  • Distance is not a barrier

Consultations, second opinions and imaging review are delivered online to patients in any country - and just as readily to a patient a few streets away.

  • Written plans, every time

Every consultation ends with a plan the patient actually holds - not a verbal summary forgotten on the way out.

Telemedicine

See a specialist without leaving home

A scheduled consultation by video or voice, with your existing results reviewed beforehand and a written plan afterwards. It suits a patient on another continent and a patient ten minutes away equally well — the point is not distance, it is not having to travel to be properly assessed.

  1. 1

    Send your request

Tell us the concern, where you are and the times that suit you. Two minutes.

  2. 2

    We match and confirm

We assign the right specialist and confirm a slot in your own time zone.

  3. 3

    Consult and follow up

Meet by video or voice, then receive your plan, prescription or referral in writing.

Emergency & non-emergency

Emergency medical and surgical intervention, around the clock

A resuscitation area, a theatre and an on-call surgical team are available every hour of the year. Our own branded ambulances and rapid-response dispatch riders bring the patient in, with a clinician on board from the moment they are reached.

  • 24/7 emergency interventions
  • Emergency surgery, any hour
  • Branded ambulance & rider response
  • Inter-facility & hospital transfer
  • Continuous monitoring en route
  • Direct handover to the treating team

In a life-threatening emergency, telephone us

A call reaches the emergency team faster than any form. Both lines are answered 24 hours a day and both take WhatsApp calls.
