Who it is for
When a screen is genuinely enough
Telemedicine is not a lesser version of a consultation. For a large share of problems it is simply the sensible way to do it.
We were pushed into telemedicine by our own patients. People living in other countries kept asking for a clinician who understood both the medicine and the situation at home; families overseas needed someone to check on a parent in Port Harcourt. What began as accommodation became one of the busiest parts of the clinic.

You live in another country
Patients anywhere in the world who want a consultant opinion without a flight, and who want a clinician who understands the situation back home, and families arranging care for a relative in Rivers State.
You cannot easily travel
Patients living close by as well as far away, those with limited mobility, and anyone for whom a journey to a clinic is the hardest part of getting care.
You have results you do not understand
Send them ahead and have a specialist read them properly, rather than searching reference ranges online at midnight.
You need follow-up, not a new assessment
Reviewing progress, adjusting medication or checking a wound rarely needs another journey into the clinic.
When telemedicine is the wrong choice
- Chest pain, breathlessness, or any suspected emergency
- Severe bleeding, trauma or loss of consciousness
- Anything needing hands-on examination to be safe
- Conditions requiring immediate procedures or admission
In any of these situations, telephone the clinic or attend the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for an online appointment.
How it works
Five steps, and none of them involve travelling
The one that matters most is the third: sending your existing records ahead, so the consultation is spent on decisions rather than history-gathering.
- 1
Send your request
Choose telemedicine in the booking form, describe the concern, tell us which country you are in and the times of day that work. Two minutes.
- 2
We match a specialist
The triage team assigns the right clinician for the problem and confirms a slot converted into your own local time - so there is no arithmetic for you to get wrong.
- 3
Send anything you already have
Previous results, scans, prescriptions and discharge summaries are reviewed before the call, not during it. The consultation starts informed.
- 4
The consultation
Video or voice, whichever your connection supports. History, discussion, and a plan agreed with you rather than announced at you.
- 5
Written plan afterwards
Diagnosis or working impression, treatment, prescription and next review, in writing. Where in-person care is needed, we arrange it here.
Before the call
Five minutes of preparation doubles what you get out of it
- Somewhere quiet and private
- Your medicines, in front of you
- Previous results sent ahead
- A written list of your questions
- Good light on your face
- A phone number we can call back on
Working across time zones
Appointment times are always confirmed in your local time as well as ours. Port Harcourt runs on West Africa Time (UTC+1) with no daylight saving, so once we know your city the conversion is fixed and we do it for you.
Questions
About consulting us online
Technology, prescriptions, privacy, and arranging care for someone else.
Patients contact us from many countries - a large share of our 10,000+ clients reach us this way. Tell us where you are and we will schedule around your time zone. Where local regulation affects prescribing, we will say so before you pay for anything.
Video where you can, because a clinician can see a great deal that you would not think to mention. If your connection is unreliable, voice with photographs sent ahead usually works better than a video call that keeps dropping.
A smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera, and the steadiest internet connection you have. We will send joining instructions when the appointment is confirmed. Nothing specialised needs installing.
Where it is clinically appropriate and lawful in the place you are, yes - and it comes to you in writing with the rest of the plan. Some medicines cannot responsibly be prescribed without examination, and we will tell you when that applies.
Yes. Consultations are treated exactly as an in-clinic consultation for confidentiality, and the record is held under the same terms. Please take the call somewhere you are comfortable speaking freely.
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. With the patient's consent, we can consult with you, assess them in person, and report back to you at agreed intervals through one named co-ordinator rather than a general enquiries inbox.
Telemedicine consultation fees are clearly stated prior to appointment confirmation. We provide simple, secure online payment options that support local and international debit/credit cards.
Speak to a specialist from wherever you are
Tell us the concern and your country, and we will confirm a consultation in your own time zone - usually with your existing results already reviewed.
