Appointments and booking
Getting seen, how soon, and what a first visit involves.
6 questions
Three ways: the booking form on this site, a telephone call to the clinic, or a WhatsApp message. All three reach the same triage team.
The form is usually fastest because you can describe the problem in your own words without being put on hold. Whichever route you use, someone reads the request and comes back to you to confirm a time - nothing is auto-booked into a slot that turns out to be wrong for you.
No. You can book directly with us. If you do have a referral letter, or previous results and scans, bring them - they often prevent you paying again for an investigation you have already had.
Tell us in the booking form how urgent it feels, and we will come back with the earliest suitable appointment. If what you describe suggests something that should not wait, the triage team will telephone you rather than reply by email.
You can ask, and we will accommodate it where that clinician covers the relevant area and has capacity. Otherwise we assign based on what you have described, because seeing the right discipline quickly matters more than seeing a particular name slowly.
Telephone or message us as early as you can. Cancelled slots are given to other patients, so a cancellation is genuinely useful rather than an inconvenience.
Yes. Paediatrics and child health is one of our clinical areas. A parent or guardian should attend with the child and bring immunisation records if they are available.
Fertility treatment
One of our core practices - what we offer and when to come.
5 questions
Twelve months of regular unprotected intercourse without conception is the usual guidance. Come after about six months if the female partner is over 35, if periods are absent or very irregular, if there is known endometriosis, pelvic infection or previous pelvic surgery, or if there is any known problem with the male partner. Coming early costs only a consultation; waiting can cost you options.
Ovulation induction and cycle monitoring, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), laparoscopic and hysteroscopic fertility surgery, laparoscopic ovarian drilling for polycystic ovary syndrome, and surgical sperm retrieval by PESA, TESA or TESE.
Always, and at the same time as the female partner. A male factor is involved in roughly half of all cases of infertility, and no treatment plan made without a semen analysis is a serious plan. We will not begin investigating one partner alone.
Yes, and many couples do. The first consultation, the review of any results you already have, and the results consultation can all be done by video. We will tell you exactly which investigations can be done where you are and which need you here, so that you travel once rather than repeatedly.
We assess each couple individually based on reproductive history, clinical tests, and specific diagnostics. Rather than quoting generic averages, we provide a personalized, realistic prognosis and recommended treatment options during consultation.
Fees, insurance and payment
Costs, HMO cover and how payment works.
4 questions
General and specialist medical consultations depend on whether it is an initial comprehensive evaluation or a follow-up review. General consultations typically start from ₦15,000 to ₦25,000, while consultant specialist assessments (such as internal medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, and surgical reviews) and international telemedicine sessions are confirmed with clear, itemised written fees prior to booking. There are never hidden costs.
Yes. We accept leading Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs) including Hygeia HMO, Reliance HMO, AXA Mansard, Leadway Health, Avon HMO, and Bastion HMO, as well as recognised corporate medical retainerships and international private health plans. Contact our admissions desk with your provider name and enrollee ID for swift eligibility verification.
Payment is made online, through a single secure payment page that works the same way wherever in the world you are paying from.
That page accepts several channels - debit and credit card, bank transfer and the common mobile payment methods - and issues a receipt immediately. You are told the amount before any payment is requested, and we will never ask for card details over the telephone, by email or through WhatsApp.
Yes. You should never discover the price of something after receiving it. If a plan involves investigations or a care package, we set out what it will cost before it starts.
Telemedicine
Consulting us online, from wherever you are.
4 questions
Yes. A large share of our 10,000+ patients consult us online, from many different countries, and telemedicine was built for exactly that.
Choose telemedicine when booking, tell us where you are, and we schedule the consultation in your own time zone. Where local regulation limits what we can lawfully prescribe in your country, we will tell you before you pay for anything.
A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, and the steadiest internet connection you have. Joining instructions are sent when the appointment is confirmed. Nothing specialised needs installing.
Where it is clinically appropriate and lawful where you are, yes, and it comes to you in writing with the rest of the plan. Some medicines cannot responsibly be prescribed without a physical examination, and we will say when that applies rather than take the money.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons families contact us - whether you are in the next town or on another continent. With the patient's consent we assess them, deliver the care, and report back to you at agreed intervals through one named co-ordinator, so you are never left chasing a general enquiries inbox.
Medical transport
Emergencies, transfers and planned journeys.
4 questions
Yes. Emergency medical and surgical intervention, ambulance dispatch and theatre cover run 24 hours a day, including weekends and every public holiday. For a life-threatening emergency, telephone rather than using the form - a call reaches the team immediately.
No. Medical transport is available to anyone who needs it, whether or not our clinicians have seen you before.
That is routine. Say so when booking and a stretcher-capable vehicle with the right crew and loading equipment is assigned. Also mention stairs, narrow doorways or a difficult approach, because it changes what the crew brings.
Usually yes, and for a frightened or confused patient it helps considerably. Tell us when booking so the crew can plan seating. In a genuine emergency the crew may need that space to work.
Care at home and residential care
Nursing visits, recovery support and placements.
4 questions
Yes. Domiciliary care brings nursing visits, post-operative recovery support, elderly care and medication management into the patient's own home. Where continuous supervision is needed, we also provide supported residential care.
From one visit a week to several a day, decided by a clinical assessment rather than a fixed package. Post-operative patients often start intensively and step down quickly; long-term care usually settles into a steady pattern.
That is the aim and rosters are planned around it. A familiar face notices changes a stranger misses. Where cover is unavoidable, the replacement works from the same written care plan.
Not automatically. For most people, home with good support is both better clinically and cheaper. Residential care is right when someone needs supervision that visits cannot provide, or when the home itself has become unsafe. We will tell you honestly which we think applies.
Records, results and confidentiality
How your information is handled.
4 questions
A clinician goes through them with you, in person or by video, and the interpretation is written into your plan. Results are not released as bare figures with no explanation, because a number without context causes more harm than help.
Yes. You may ask to see what is written about you and request a copy. Records are released to you, or to someone you have authorised in writing.
Only with your agreement. Being a close relative does not by itself entitle anyone to your clinical information. If you would prefer your family were not told something, say so and that will be respected.
Yes. Every page of this site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and anything you type into the booking or contact form is encrypted in transit using TLS. It is then stored securely and used only to arrange your care.
Please still keep clinical detail in the form brief - a clinician will take your full history properly at the consultation. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what is held, for how long, and who is able to see it.

#15 Ikwerre Street, Mile One, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The contact page has directions and a map, and the clinic frontage is shown in the gallery so you know what to look for.
We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, including every public holiday. There is no closed period, no break in the day and no reduced holiday service. Emergency medical and surgical intervention runs continuously alongside the routine clinics.
A WhatsApp call or chat on +234 803 449 4096 or +44 7391 189464. WhatsApp is the quickest and most reliable route to us from anywhere in the world: an ordinary international dial to a mobile often fails or costs the caller a great deal, and a WhatsApp call does neither.
Email at info@careandcureclinics.co.uk also works well across time zones, because it does not need both parties awake at the same moment. For a life-threatening emergency, telephone or WhatsApp-call either number immediately rather than sending a message.
Write to us at info@careandcureclinics.co.uk or ask to speak directly with our clinical leadership team. Every concern is acknowledged promptly, reviewed thoroughly by the clinical director, and handled with full transparency.

A consultation answers more than a search does
Most questions resolve themselves once a clinician has examined you and read your results. Book an appointment and get a definite answer rather than a probable one.
